Summary
The project is part of a series of projects in the field of alternatives to migration detention and aims to build on advocacy and communication in the field.
As part of this development, a Handbook on Alternatives to Migration Detention was created.
Since 2017, the Legal Aid Center – Voice in Bulgaria Foundation has been working in the field of immigration detention and its implementation in Bulgaria. This handbook aims to accumulate the experience gained over the years in one practical tool and to serve as an effective tool for the personnel working in the field or decision-makers regarding the determination of alternative measures to immigration detention, by assisting them in resolving specific cases and situations in line with established international standards and principles.
