In Bulgaria, as in other European countries, some of the people who prepare and serve our food, build and maintain our homes, take care of us and our families, are in an especially difficult situation: they are foreign nationals without residence and work permits. This means that they cannot complain in case of injustice or even violence on the part of employers, as the ghost of detention and deportation always hangs above them, and in the current difficult situation of epidemic, cannot access any support measures.
